What we collect
Two things. First, whatever you type into one of our forms. The strategy-call form asks for your name, your WhatsApp number, what you need help with and, if you choose to share them, your business name, website or Instagram, your biggest problem right now and what a good result in 90 days would look like. If you message us on WhatsApp, we also see what you send there. Second, basic, aggregated usage statistics: which pages were viewed, roughly where in the world the visit came from, and which site referred it. Those statistics are cookie-less and are not tied to an individual.
Why we collect it
Contact details exist so a human can reply to your enquiry — usually on WhatsApp — and, if it becomes a conversation, keep a record of it. The extra answers on the strategy-call form exist so the first conversation is about your business rather than a list of questions. Usage statistics exist so we can tell whether the site is doing its job. Nothing here is used for behavioural advertising or profiling.
What we don't do
We do not sell your data. We do not trade or rent it. We do not share it with third parties beyond the service providers needed to actually run this site and reply to you: website hosting, our database (Supabase), email delivery for form notifications (Resend and Web3Forms), privacy-friendly analytics (Plausible) and WhatsApp when you message us there. Those providers only process it to provide their service to us.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept while there's a live conversation and for a reasonable period afterwards for our own records. Aggregated usage statistics carry no personal data and are retained indefinitely.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted outright. Email hello@scepticmedia.com with the request and we'll action it. You do not need to give a reason.
Cookies
This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. Analytics is cookie-less by design, which is also why you are not being asked to dismiss a consent banner.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the updated version will be published on this page. Continuing to use the site after that means the current version applies.
